Amanda, CP RMT is a certified prenatal massage therapist. Since starting her massage training, Amanda has found her passion is centered around prenatal and infant massage. She has a strong belief in the power of touch, and feels that the bond between a mother and child starts long before birth. Amanda completed her prenatal certification with Axiom College, with the hopes to complete her postnatal certificate to further help her clients along their parental journey. Amanda also enjoys working with orthopedic clients through their unique set of symptoms and challenges using deep tissue techniques. Seeing her clients to reach their goals is one of the best parts of massage therapy for her.
Amanda considers herself to be a lifetime student with no intention of stopping in her search for knowledge. She is currently pursuing a postnatal certificate as well as an intra-oral TMJ Level 1 and 2 Certificate.
Amanda addresses patients with conditions such as sciatica, shoulder impingement, sinus congestion, thoracic outlet syndrome and carpal tunnel, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, knee and hip replacement, sprains and fractures of the foot, IT band friction syndrome, scar tissue, fibromyalgia, head forward posture, headaches/migraines, as well as various prenatal conditions at all stages of pregnancy.
Amanda believes that every person needs their own unique set of practitioners in their health care team. As your practitioner she will always do her best to help facilitate good communication and healing with other health care providers you trust, and if she can’t help you get to the root of your concerns, she is more than happy to help you find someone who can.
Amanda is originally from Edmonton, AB and when she is outside of the clinic she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, adventuring around the beautiful city of Saskatoon.
