Victoria Walton is a registered social worker with a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Regina and a Masters of Social Work from the University of British Columbia. She has trained in a variety of counselling approaches including cultural-relational, emotionally focused, narrative, psychodrama, strength-based and solution focused. Victoria is a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner with Level One Touch Training for therapists who enjoys assisting at SE trainings.

Victoria has over 30 years of experience supporting individuals, and couples through physical and emotional health challenges as well as relational crisis. She has a particular interest in the areas of trauma, grief, women’s health, and chronic health issues. Victoria believes that counselling can support our natural resilience as well as promote self-regulation and empowerment. She has served on a variety of committees with the Saskatchewan Association
of Social Workers, on local boards and was a sessional lecturer with the School of Social Work at the University of Regina. When relaxing you can find her at the lake, gardening, travelling or playing with her grandchildren.
